Planning Your Cabin Vacation:
One of the challenges every traveler faces is whether or not to drink the local water. You'd be surprised at what passes for potability but suffice it to say, it's not going to taste like what you drink at home. Many parks and resorts use well water, so the quality will vary from place to place. We bypassed that by simply bringing a PurifiCup® portable water filtration system and had all the pure water we wanted for drinking and cooking. I recently saw the video on this type of filtration system and seems like it would be quite useful in the field, especially if camping or out hunting. I have yet to purchase one as of yet, as I am still doing some research on the filter, but am nearing a decision as hunting season is near.
